I love baking cookies, cakes, scones and really enjoy the therapeutic benefits of making things such as English muffins and Mexican pan dulce. Baking with spontaneous creativity is one of my favorite things to do. I am also a lunch lady who loves to include baking for my students because there is just something special the way their eyes light up to get a special treat.

I remember being a teenager the first time I baked a cake for my church. As a child I had watched my mom bake for my siblings and I for years. Every time I was given a token of baked love from my her it made me feel so special and worth her time & effort. Fast forward to when I baked that cake as a teenager, I instantly fell in love with the experience of creating from nothing to the finished product that became a special thing for the person receiving it.

I have a potential store front opportunity that this would be so incredible in establishing this dream for my family and rural community. I have been experimenting selling baked goods in a pop-up tent and I could upgrade marketing and equipment such as a larger mixer, warmer and espresso machine. As a lunch lady, I would donate to my school an electric double counter top burner as our school doesn't have a stove range and a 10 qt mixer so I could make more scratch meals for our students.
