Learn MoreI love to bake cupcakes because I get to be creative with many different flavors. People can choose what matches their taste. Birthday cakes are especially fun too! I love how you can decorate the outside to fit a person’s personality and build beautiful yummy layers inside. It’s the best when I see someone go back for more!
How long have you been baking?I started baking for my children’s birthday parties about 12 years ago. Slowly, it expanded to nieces, nephews, family and friends. I took online courses through Cakeheads and have just honed in on my technique. I’ve been able to do a few wedding cakes and graduations. I have so much more to learn and every mistake I make teaches me something.
What would you do with the $20,000?First thing I would buy is a larger mixer and a cake refrigerator. But, ultimately I would start my own business, “Somethin’ Sweet.” My dream is to have a separate kitchen and entrance added onto my home.
