I fell in loving with cake decorating as a child while watching my grandmother create cakes for the family. As time went on and after graduating for the Culinary Institute of America, I gained a passion for artisan bread and chocolates. They are on two separate ends of the baking spectrum, which is why I love making both. I am a very detail oriented person, but still enjoy allowing nature to take its course when it comes to my creations. It’s hard to just pick one!
How long have you been baking?As a child I would bake cookies and sell them, before I was legally able to work. I was always experimenting with recipes and techniques until I went to college. Food has always been a passion of mine, but professionally I’ve been in the industry for over 5 years now. From working in grocery store bakeries to 5- diamond Hotels to now running my own department at a retirement facility for military veterans. I am happy to have found a passion and create the opportunities to make it a career.
What would you do with the $20,000?With the $20,000 I would use it to put a down payment on a property to be able to open up a bakery of my own.
