My favorite thing to bake is desserts and cakes. One of my signature creations is ‘Tar Baklava,’ which combines the best of Turkish and Persian flavors. I love playing with different tastes and experimenting with new recipes to create unique desserts. The process of mixing ingredients and watching my ideas come to life is incredibly rewarding. Baking allows me to express my creativity and share something special with others.

I’ve been baking for as long as I can remember. My sister and I used to help our mother in the kitchen from an early age, getting food ready and learning the family recipes. One of our favorite things to do was mix whatever we had in the fridge to create new desserts. This often made our mom mad, but it also sparked our creativity and love for baking. Those early experiences shaped my passion for experimenting in the kitchen, and I’ve continued to explore new recipes ever since.

$20,000 would help me open my cozy bakery in Toronto, which is my biggest dream. One of the main reasons I immigrated from Iran to Canada was to follow this dream and share my love for baking with others. With that money, I would be able to create a warm, welcoming bakery that mixes Persian and Turkish flavors. This funding would bring me closer to my dream and let me share my heritage and love for baking.
