I love to bake a lot of things and experiment with different creations, but I would say that my specialty are cookies. My go to dessert for any occasion is cookies. I’ve just gotten off of work and it’s 10:00 at night and I’ll whip a batch of cookies. A neighbor is going through a tough time, bring them cookies. It’s Christmas, the whole block gets cookies. They are fun, easy and I love coming with my own unique recipes.

I have been baking for 13 years and some of my first memories are from baking with my Gramma and my Mom for Christmas. In the summer, I would go to my grandparent’s house and we would find baking projects when it was too hot to go to the pool. Eventually I just took over all the baking for every occasion. While I was drawn to the creative element of baking, I think it was more because it was a way for me to show everyone who did so much for me in my life, that I loved and appreciated them

If I won the $20,000, I would use it to pay for my college degree. I am currently trying to get a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture and Culinary Entrepreneurship. My dream is to take that degree and open my own catering company that focuses on using whole ingredients and tailoring baked goods for those who have restricted diets due to medical conditions as a way to help these people not miss out on one more experience because of their condition.
