What's your favorite thing to bake?

My favorite thing to bake is cakes with an Indian twist for my toddler. I enjoy experimenting with flavors like cardamom, saffron, and mango to make unique, tasty treats that feel both familiar and fun. It’s a way for me to blend tradition with creativity, and seeing my little one enjoy them makes it even more special. Baking these cakes is not just about the final product but also about creating joyful moments and memories around food.

How long have you been baking?

I’ve been baking since 2015, and what began as a simple hobby has grown into something I’m really passionate about. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed learning new techniques, experimenting with different ingredients, and pushing my creativity—especially when adding an Indian twist to cakes for my toddler. Baking has become a way for me to unwind, explore new ideas, and share delicious treats with family and friends.

What would you do with the $20,000?

If I won a $20,000 prize, I’d use part of it to explore new recipes and take a course to refine my baking skills. I’d also set aside some for a trip with my son to visit family back home—it would be a great way to create special memories. Lastly, I’d donate a portion to a cause I care about, making sure the prize benefits others too
