Learn MoreI'm all about instant gratification. My “go to’s” are things I can bake and share quickly. Cookies are my favorite. My latest obsession is a "kitchen sink" cookie with loads of deliciousness. It’s as indulgent as it sounds with browned butter, caramel, three types of chocolate, and pretzels. My second favorite right now is sourdough bread. I appreciate the art, science, and patience required to create something so complex and delicious.
How long have you been baking?I gained my love of baking from my Mom and my Grandma. I was in the kitchen with them from the time I could walk. My favorite holiday memories are full of the delicious treats we’d make together; caramels, divinity, cookies, cakes and pies. Those memories fuel my passion for baking that I now share with my own daughters.
What would you do with the $20,000?My dream is to learn from the French pastry masters. I would use the winnings to travel to Paris and learn from the experts. Additionally, I would invest in high-end tools like a professional stand mixer, a variety of pans and utensils, and other items to enhance the baking process. Passion and skill are essential for baking, but having the right tools is equally important to truly enjoy the process.
