Learn MoreIt’s hard to pick a favorite, but I would have to say French Macarons. But it’s the cake decorating that I love most! I enjoy creating custom cake orders for customers! I can make their cake visions and dreams come true!
How long have you been baking?I have almost 20 years under my belt. I did open up my own brick and mortar bakery. 2 months before March of 2020. I stayed open for a little over a year. Took out a Covid EIDL loan to help with the lack of business in hopes I could make it through. Looking back I wish I didn’t take out loans, I paid cash for everything to get it going, but couldn’t sustain with no big weddings, or parties or catering events! I had to close my doors, and now have a good chunk of debts to pay back.
What would you do with the $20,000?If I won I would use the prize money to pay off a couple of my debt accounts. I am a single mother of 4 and the economy is rough right now. I work a salary position as an Executive Pastry Chef and run a household and do my best to give my 4 children everything they need, and some of what they want. I live paycheck to paycheck. And I will struggle financially until my business debts are paid. This money will help speed that up a little.
