My favorite thing to bake is a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting. It's the ultimate favorite and it always hits the spot. The chocolate cupcake is so rich and moist. The peanut butter frosting is so flavorful with the right amount of sweet. It's like a Reese's cup. It's my family and friends ultimate favorite for a party. I occasionally will top it with crushed Oreos just to give it texture. That brings it to another level of delight.

I honestly don't remember the exact age that I began baking. I do recall baking the boxed cakes with my mother and sisters. I always had so much fun because it was like a science project. I began sometime around my young teenage years maybe earlier than that. I slowly began getting curious about baking from scratch. I wanted to challenge myself. I then began looking up online recipes, I have since then enjoyed the journey. There is so much more I want to learn and I am absolutely ready for it.

If I was to win this competition and earn this reward, I would pay my university debt to continue my education. Having this reward will open more opportunities. I have fought and worked so hard to accomplish and reach for these goals. I would also invest in starting my baking business. I have multiple dreams. Who says we can't be or do more than one thing? I want to be a baker and a scientist. To me, being a baker is a scientist. I am grateful to simply be a part of this opportunity.
