My all time favorite thing to bake are cakes. One of my favorite parts about baking cakes are the beautiful, intricate designs you can make when piping buttercream. Each customer has a different vision, making each cake extremely unique. I also love experimenting with different cake flavors like orange almond or lemon olive oil!
How long have you been baking?I have been baking for fun for many years. My dream growing up was to be a bakery owner, so I would bake cakes for my family members’ birthdays and make cupcakes for friends. However, I have gotten more serious with my baking in the last three years. I bake cakes and other desserts regularly.
What would you do with the $20,000?With $20,000 I would invest in my residential kitchen bakery. This would be what could help my home bakery really take off. I would invest in ordering bulk supplies and better kitchen appliances, and invest in marketing for my small business. I would also invest some of this money in taking baking classes at a local culinary arts college to expand my knowledge and training. This money would be life changing for me and my small baking business. Thank you!
