Learn MoreAs far as flavors my favorite thing to bake is chocolate cake with cream cheese buttercream and fresh strawberries! yum! Honestly all of my custom cakes are my favorite thing to bake. I love getting as much details from the client as possible to make each and every cake as personal and as unique as they are. I’ve had many people who “don’t really like cake” tell me how much they love/enjoyed my creations and that’s what keeps me going.
How long have you been baking?For as long as I can remember I would be in the kitchen mixing whatever I found in the cabinet and “baking” with my grandma. But when I was 16 I saw my mom make a specific cake and I decided making custom cakes is what I wanted to do with my life. I started out baking for friends birthdays and then in 2022 I started my small at home baking business called “The Queens Bakers” in memory and honor of my grandmother who was the queen of our family.
What would you do with the $20,000?I would love to be able to create full time again so I can provide better for my family. I got married this month and my husband is encouraging me to finally get back to doing what I love after an injury to my hand which put my creations on hold. I’m coming back to the cake world after a few months off but I would absolutely love to be able to invest in space and tools to be able to grow. Growth would allow me to give my children and husband the world they deserve while I do what I love.
