My favorite thing to bake is custom cakes. When baking custom cakes you can let your creativity flow to its fullest extent. While decorating cakes, I make sure every single cake and frosting layer are evenly portioned. While piping the decorative elements I make sure the details are perfect, as if every cake I make is going in front of judges, this ensures my details are spot on. Every customer deserves a cake that has all of your effort put into it.

I have been baking for as long as I can remember. When I was little, about 4-6years old, I would bake with my Aunt whenever I was at her house. As I got older, I would bake and decorate birthday cakes for every family birthday. In 2022 almost 16 year old me decided to start selling my baked goods, with a dream to open my own bakery some day, now here I am at 18 selling baked goods from my home still following that dream.

If I win the $20,000 reward, I will start by putting $12,000 of that money into a savings account to help me further my education by getting my Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. Next, I will donate $3,500 to animal shelters in the St.Clair County Michigan area to help keep animals warm, fed, and off of the streets. Lastly, I will use the remaining $4,500 to invest into my business by purchasing better supplies and materials, advertising, and put a down payment on a small storefront.
