One of my favorite things to bake, among many, is custom sugar cookies. I love making these cookies because of the variety that comes with them. I get to connect with so many people and get the chance to see a glimpse into their lives and the things they love! This is also something that I feel like always gives room to learn new skills and improve. I don't think I will ever get tired of making them!

Feels like forever! I actually became interested in baking from watching Cake Boss when I was in elementary school. I would always volunteer to make my family member's birthday cakes so I could try something I saw on the show. I took a little break, but decided to start baking again while I was in grad school to make a little extra money. I regained my passion for it, and now I take as many orders as my schedule as a high school teacher and track coach will allow me!

My husband and I just bought our first home. If I won the $20,000 I would use it for projects on the house as we continue to make it our own! I would also love to use it to invest in my cottage bakery. There are some things I would love to buy and try that just aren't in my budget right now. This $20,000 would have an incredible impact on my family!
